Gym teachers syndrome
1 a condition, commonly found in gym teachers but also in teachers of other pointless cl-sses, where the patient tries to compensate for the pointlessness of their job with odd and unnecessary busy work.
2 the same, but for anybody with a pointless job
“my gym teacher gave me a written test today. why would he do that?” “he has gym teachers syndrome.”
“my boss is making us wear a different uniform every day. i wonder if he’s getting gym teachers syndrome.”
