a woman who pays her own bills, buys her own things, and does not allow a man to affect her stability or self-confidence. she supports her self on her own entirely and is proud to be able to do so.

a confident self motivated woman who takes responsibility for her actions and never blame the rest of the world for her mistakes or her downfalls. her pride doesn’t get in the way if she ever needs a helping hand.
a women, who is stubborn, rude, lonely and always saying that she is an independent woman, need to stop lying to herself and the people around her.
normally are strong, beautiful women. ages can range anywhere between 25 and older. they can be single, or in a relationship. most of the time they’ll have 1 child or none, but there are women with more children who are very much independent. they have a lot of experience and expertise in the field their in, refined resumes. independent women usually don’t want to waste their precious time.

a woman who pays her own bills, buys her own things, and doesn’t feel she needs a man’s approval. meanwhile, she complains that she can’t find a man because there aren’t enough good men out there. she also has a 1,000 point criteria list for what she wants in a man and feels like she deserves this kind of man because she can financially support herself. all the while she forgets that she can’t be independent and interdependent (in a relationship) at the same time. instead of realizing that she would need to change her mindset to find a man who fits even a fraction of that 1,000 point criteria, she blames society, her race, statistics, and virtually anything but herself for her situation.

made famous by beyonce, the independent woman is someone who claims to be able to do it all on their own. in reality, she has a new boyfriend at least 2-3 times a year and never stays single more than a week. she also often gets money from her parents. she also craves attention from online social networks like facebook and twitter and is known to cause a lot of drama at work.
if you haven’t lived by yourself in a cave for 5 years, you can’t go around calling yourself an independent woman.
