scr-w-ng someone over is knocking a faucet…. if lunch starts at 10 and you are counting on someone to bring you your food….and than he doesnt show up…. he “knocked you a faucet”.
if youn planned to meet someone at a certain time it is good to show up….dont knock them a faucet
