McLaren MP4-12C
a new mclaren hypercar that has the weirdest name ever. coming out in 2011, the car has a carbon-fiber chasis and has an engine made by mclaren themselves unlike the last 2 cars they had (slr and f1).
it will have a twin turbo 3.8litre v8 managing to get out 592 bhp from it and it will have some formula 1 tech in it.
dual clutch and obviously a flappy paddle gearbox.
the mp4 stands for mclaren project 4, the ch-ssis designation for all mclaren formula 1 cars since 1981
the ’12’ refers to mclaren’s internal vehicle performance index through which it rates key performance criteria both for compet-tors and for its own cars.
and c is for carbon since the car is mostly build out of, carbon fiber.
forget what you know about sports cars.
the mclaren mp4-12c might not have the highest top speed, but it will surely wreck a veyron in a proper track.
