Molyneux Syndrome

the mindset of a game developer who thinks that his/her game can deliver ‘everything (the audience) has ever hoped for’ in a game of that genre.

this mindset is named for the developer of fable, peter molyneux. though a solid game, fable did not hold up to the revolutionary and dynamic rpg it was set up to be.
he makes sky-high promises and claims he can make a game pretty much by himself and in flash; this guy has molyneux syndrome written all over him.
