a person who only goes to catholic m-ss to observe certain holidays, usually once or twice a year. this includes people who are forced to go, people who go voluntarily, believers and non-believers.
my family were a bunch of once-a-year catholics, so whenever they made me go i got an anxiety attack for the whole m-ss.
