revisionist racism
the practice of using historical dates and facts out of context with the intent to negatively impact public opinion about members of particular religious or minority groups. especially relevant when the dates or historical events used occurred more than 250 years in the past.
the renee elmer’s ad against the community center in new york doesn’t make a convincing argument, it’s just revisionist racism.
i don’t understand why turkey hasn’t been allowed to join the eu, most of the arguments i’ve heard are based more in revisionist racism than fact.
