t-shirt fan
a fan of a college they would never be accepted to. often get very defensive of said team, and respond with statements that don’t really make a lot of sense. ie-using mike sherman in a tech rant. a true ut fan would know that he is atm’s coach, and tt has no afilliation with him whatsoever.
sometimes make themselves feel better by saying that everyone is a t-shirt fan because they dont play for their schools, when in reality, if a person is attending, or has attended said univeristy they have put money into it. this allows them to cheer all they want.
