The Check Point Paradox
when playing a video game that uses checkpoints instead of normal saves, you p-ss the check point before a boss or tough group of monsters, with your character’s health less than 25%. the monsters promptly destroy your character making you re-sp-wn at the last check point with still minimal health and no way to turn back without starting a new save or finding a glitch. this happens to many gamers and causes frustration about the inability to advance further into the storyline.
