The Great Clay Riness


locally known folk musician from the midwest. has worked with michael martin murphy and hal atkinson among others. influenced by artists such as ry cooder, bob dylan, neil young, and the eagles. has played guitar for almost 40 years. discography includes rollin’ in my changes, down to the cellar, live bait!, walk along john, one season, best of four, and little windows. toured on the wisconsin public radio simply folk 10th anniversary tour. hosted the rustic valley concert series and the river valley concert series. known for his sense of humor when interacting with other people. is admiringly referred to by local teens as “the great clay”.
