Scumbag Steve Meme
Scumbag Steve’s real name is Blake, and this picture at his grandma’s house was made into an iconic meme. Today, Blake is very active on Twitter and he hardly looks like the scumbag he used to be. This image was posted on Reddit in January 2011.
In ‘Know Your Meme,’ Blake admitted that the picture was taken by his mother. Blake said, “I have no regrets in my life …no matter what I’ve done. I can completely mess up, and I still don’t regret it. Because at the end of the day, that makes me who I am, so I wouldn’t go back and change anything if I were to go back in time.”
The Overly Attached Girlfriend Meme
Since going viral as the overly attached girlfriend meme in 2012, Laina Morris became a successful Youtuber. She doesn’t vlog as much as she used to, but she remains active on social media.
It definitely wasn’t an easy road for her. Morris has spoken about her privacy difficulties following the meme’s success. She recalls, “Strangers were finding my personal Facebook account and messaging with my friends. They were finding where I worked and trying to access my college documents.”
Michael McGee
Regardless, of what people believe, Michael McGee didn’t actually have to fart, and he really wasn’t going crazy about anything specific. McGee can actually make that face on command, and his friend at school thought it would make for a funny meme online.
Redditor aaduk_ala submitted a picture titled “Trying to hold a fart next to a cute girl in class,” in March 2014. When asked whether McGee has any regrets about his internet fame, he responded: “My take on being ‘internet famous’ is cool and all. But I do regret not copyrighting the photo right away because I could have made a lot of money there!”
Bad Luck Brian Meme
Kyle Craven is actually Brian in the famous meme called, ‘Bad Luck Brian,’ and this photo didn’t actually make it into his high school yearbook, but his friend did get a hold of it.
Kyle managed to make a little money off of the famous meme, and today, he’s a happily married man and he helps his dad’s construction company build churches. The Photo was first posted by Kyle’s long-time friend with a caption “Takes driving test .?.?. gets first DUI,” on January 23rd, 2012.
First World Problems Meme
The term ‘First World Problems,” has regularly been used since 2005, to explain everyday problems when looked through the grand scheme of life. This has included complaints about no Wi-Fi, getting a bad haircut, or a low cellphone battery.
Silvia Bottini is not only the face of your first world problems, but she is also an Italian actress. According to an interview, Bottini is working on a feature film about what it’s like to become a meme.

When Little was asked about the interest behind the meme, he replied, “I don’t really know, but I kinda feel honored to be part of a joke that’s in good spirit because sometimes the Internet can be malicious. But these are all positive. It’s funny that everybody is kind of taking to it. It’s, I guess, one of the most flattering ways to get spread across the Internet.”

Clarence was able to stay under the radar from the spotlight, which is rare for a meme subject. Redditor duckareokay submitted a post to the /r/AdviceAnimals[3] subreddit titled “A true moment of clarity” featuring a photograph of a man mimicking the Suddenly Clarity Clarence with the caption “I’m a meme,” in 2012,
Redditor Badk1d replied to the thread claiming that the real Clarity Clarence was his classmate, Will G from southern California. He also presented this photo (Pictured on the right) as evidence.

Grumpy cat has been all over the internet for what seems like ages now. Grumpy cat is well-known and loved by many.
Grumpy Cat rose to fame after several pictures of her grumpy frown were posted online in late September 2012. Unfortunately, Grumpy Cat died at home in the arms of her mother, following several complications from a UTI on May 14, 2019.

The Confused Math Lady is successful Brazilian actress Renata Sorrah. The meme is a scene from the telenovela, Senhora do Destino in which Renata is best known for portraying Nazaré Tedesco. Today, she lives in Rio de Janeiro, and this year she will turn 73 years old.

This sweet dog is the face of the Good Boy meme. He’s now an Instagram superstar, and now he’s all grown up- and no longer a puppy.

András Arató is just a guy who posed for some stock photos, and that photo was turned into a famous meme. When he became a meme, he leaned into it; even starting groups on Russian social media to spread even more pictures of himself to the world can laugh with him. 2011, was the earliest known archived thread, where Harold first got attention, can be found on Facepunch.

Giorgio A. Tsoukalos actually believes in aliens, and he’s spreading the word with his work as a television host, producer, and an author. He is a promoter of the idea that ancient alien astronauts interacted with ancient humans.
Tsoukalos has also appeared on the National Geographic Channel, The Travel Channel, the Sci-Fi Channel, and The History Channel. He is the co-founder of a magazine that was published in 2008, called Legendary Times.

Terrio owned the internet with his dancing. TerRio is known for dance, first recorded by Maleek in a Vine post that collected more than 300,000 “likes” and even more re-Vines. Today, he’s on Instagram trying to live a healthier life. He’s also running anti-bullying campaigns. He is the most recognizable star on Vine, despite not having an account.

This famous meme is of rapper Cardi B. Her real name is Belcalis Almanzar, and she was born on October 11th, 1992 in The Bronx borough of New York City. Today, Cardi B is a successful rapper, and she’s well-known for featuring on the show Love & Hip-Hop: New York.

A YouTuber named Cassy Athena uploaded an episode of the series ‘Thru The Lens,’ featuring a day in the life of Nick Young. During the clip, Young has a confused expression on his face when his mother claims that he was “a clown” in his early years, that picture became a well-known meme (pictured left). Young played a short stint with the Denver Nuggets this year.

Antoine Dodson was on the news talking to a reporter about an attack on his sister, after the video went viral in 2010, a remix of the interview by Schmoyoho widely spread online. He’s famous worldwide, due to the meme. Now, he’s enjoying a music career, and he is trying to start his own reality TV show.

The disaster girl is actually named Zoe Roth, and believe it or not- the picture is real. She’s still a 4-year-old fire starter to the internet, but she’s an adult now and clearly, she still has a sense of humor about the whole thing. The photograph was taken by Dave Roth, during the local fire department’s live drill training in Mebane, North Carolina.

Chloe was only two years old when she went viral. Today, both Chloe and her sister Lilly are growing up quickly. YouTuber KAftC uploaded a video titled “Lily’s Disneyland Surprise… AGAIN,” on September 12th, 2013- which shows two sisters, Lily and Chloe, reacting to the news of a surprise trip to Disneyland on their way to school- Chloe then gives a face which is now known as the ‘Side eyeing Chloe’.

Danielle Bregoli was on Dr. Phil challenging audience members to a fight, outside. On The Dr. Phil Show YouTube channel, a clip was uploaded in which a teenage girl named Danielle appeared on the show, and it went viral.
She was on the show, because her mom was reaching out for help- due to Bregoli stealing cars. Tired of the audience laughing at how she talks, she cries, “Catch me outside, how about that?” Now, she’s Bhad Bhabie, a gold-selling rapper with a big record deal with Atlantic Records.

Gavin is a child star known for the meme (shown on the left). The picture was originally in a video uploaded by Vine star Nick Mastodon. We are able to watch Gavin grow up on social media thanks to the constant updates.

Viner Nicholas Fraser uploaded a short clip titled “That one person that’s sways lying on what they own,” which featured himself listening to another person tell a lie on August 29th, 2015.
Today, he’s making his own life as an entertainer, and he’s also the first thing you think of whenever a person lies to you.

Sammy was just an 11 month old baby when he became a famous meme. He used his newfound fame to raise money when his dad needed a kidney transplant. Laney Griner uploaded a photograph of her son Sammy in 2007, on Flickr. She said that her son gets embarrassed by his association with the meme.
I Don’t Always Meme
This meme (shown on the left) was inspired by the highly successful advertising campaign for the Dos Equis beverage brand that ran from 2006 to 2018. The character is depicted as a highly charismatic gentleman who often says, “I don’t always X, but when I do, I Y.” The ads starred American actor Jonathan Goldsmith as “the most interesting man.”

The Hipster Barista photo was first uploaded on August 24, 2011. Dustin Mattson, the man in the picture, expressed how he felt about the meme in an interview for Eater Atlanta:
“I do find it discouraging and disappointing that there was so much exposure brought to an attempt at making a joke of a culinary industry and the professional barista. “That Would Be Great” is a meme (shown on the left) from the image series featuring the character Bill Lumbergh, from the film Office Space. Gary Michael Cole is the actor behind the well-known meme, and he is also a voice actor. This year he will be 62 years old.

Pajama Kid was discovered on Reddit, when Redditor KillerKenyan uploaded this hilarious photo in April 2014. The caption for the photo says: “Friend’s mom mixed up pajama day and picture day. He was not pleased.”

Good Guy Greg got his start on the 4Chan website, and he quickly became well-known in the meme world. Redditor fishieman posted a thread on August 10th, 2011, that was titled “Reddit, I passed the 6-week challenge and crewed alongside Good Guy Greg. I am a commercial fisherman.” He added a few pictures of the man he claims is the real Good Guy Greg, but several users have disputed that this is the real Good Guy Greg.
