Despite her long hours in the water, there are some serious perks to Maizie’s job. Who wouldn’t want to sport that brilliantly colorful and beautiful costume? She says that it’s difficult to create costumes which are realistic enough to convince all of the kids who visit her that she is a real mermaid.

If we had any say in it, Maizie would definitely win employee of the month just about every month. She pours her heart and soul into “wow”ing kids with her performances. Not to mention, she spends her own time to maker her costumes absolutely magnificent.

Turns out, Maizie’s appreciation goes far beyond those who run the park. People all over the internet enjoy her attraction. Do you have a guess as to how many Instagram followers she has?

One thing is for sure: if Disney ever decides to shoot a live action version of The Little Mermaid, they need look no further than Maizie to be the star! We hope we get to see her on screen one day!
