Paula wasn’t being careful and she crossed paths with a rattlesnake. This breed of snakes is known for being aggressive and Paula’s life was in danger. Luckily for her, the small dog named Todd jumped towards the snake and saved her!

Despite his small size, Todd has a huge heart! The little dog didn’t hesitate to jump in front of the snake who was getting ready to bite his owner and he got bitten instead. We have to warn you that the next picture is shocking!

Todd was bitten by the rattlesnake while saving his owner, but this is the price to pay for being a hero. Unfortunately, the snake’s bite had venom and things were not looking well for Todd’s health.

Since Paula was walking around a place that’s filled with rattlesnakes, the vet had a big stock of antivenom. Therefore, Todd’s health was quickly stabilizing.

Todd started feeling better as soon as the antivenom was administered. Paula was super happy to see this, especially since she knows that the only reason Todd attacked the snake is that she was in danger.

A couple of days after the snake attacked Todd, the dog made a full recovery. This was amazing news and the vet said that Todd was ready to go on walks once again. And that’s not all!

I don’t even want to imagine what the outcome of the rattlesnake encounter would’ve been if Todd wasn’t around.
