Canso


Cape, a cape in SE Canada, the NE extremity of Nova Scotia.
Strait of, Also called Gut of Canso. a channel in SE Canada that separates mainland Nova Scotia from Cape Breton Island, flowing NW from the Atlantic Ocean to Northumberland Strait. About 17 miles (27 km) long and 1 mile (1.6 km) wide.
