Ectopic schistosomiasis
ectopic schistosomiasis n.
A clinical form of schistosomiasis that, rather than occurring at the usual site of parasitism, as in the mesenteric vein or hepatic portals, occurs at various unusual sites, such as the skin, brain, or spinal cord.
