Lesser rhomboid muscle
lesser rhomboid muscle n.
A muscle with origin from the spinous processes particular cervical vertebrae, with insertion into the scapula above the spine, with nerve supply from the dorsal scapular nerve, and whose action draws the scapula toward the vertebral column and slightly upward.
