Squamous odontogenic tumor

squamous odontogenic tumor n.
A benign epithelial odontogenic tumor that appears radiologically as a lesion closely associated with the tooth root and that is composed of islands of squamous epithelium enclosed by a peripheral layer of flattened cells.
