mining engineer


noun: a person that goes to school to work in a certain field of expertise pertaining to mining. generally with a minor or an emphasis in explosives or things that go boom. it is not a very dangerous field, despite constantly working with explosives. studies show that majorly almost 85% of mining engineer majors are pyromaniacs or enjoy destroying things in some manner.
“that guy majored in ‘mining engineering?’ man that sounds boring! he just goes around with a pick axe and mines sh-t?!”
