two a.m.’ he swallowed, then said, “you know. the person you can call at two a.m. and, no matter what, you can count on them. even if they’re asleep or it’s cold or you need to be bailed out of jail…they’ll come for you. it’s like, the highest level of friendship.
sometimes, i call my 2 am because other people advise me to, but then he’s sleeping and then gets angry when woken!
when somebody’s your 2 a.m. it means that at no matter what time of day you call or need them, they will be there for you. this is a very high level of friendship, and means that you’re true friends.

used to be a site where you could download the 2am client and play marvelous games such as (my memory is a little foggy, but i’ll try to remember) chess, checkers, backgammon, the invisible hand, total war, chain of command, and poker.

it was really cool, and had unique games, all for free! the site unfortunately went kaput for some unknown reason. the board\card games are common enough at any game site, and most people thought tih and tw kind of sucked, but chain of command lives on in its clone, call of combat.
