a rocket to the moon (or arttm) started as an electro-acoustic solo project by nick santino in braintree, m-ssachusetts. he released 2 eps. then arttm was signed to fueled by ramen in 2008, and released the “greetings from…” ep, which has a more pop-rock/pop-punk feel and includes a full band. nick used friends to make a full band for tours, but in the spring of 2009, justin richards (also in brighten) and eric halvorsen were named the official guitarist and b-ssist, respectively. the band’s biggest tour would be the 2009 ap tour. they recorded their full length in winter 2009.
