the most famous and popular band of the 70s consisting of agnetha fältskog, bjorn ulvaeus, benny andersson, and anni-frid lyngstad (frida). became famous after the 1972 eurovision song contest and recorded songs such as “dancing queen”, “fernando”, “mamma mia!” and “take a chance on me”. lasted from ’72 to ’82 ending in divorces and is still well known today. post abba, the band members still continued their musical careers and the member’s own bands are still around today.
