Abrahamic Religions
abrahamic religions are the three religions (christianity, islam and judaism) that trace their common origin to the patriarch abraham. a hallmark of abrahamic religions is that the final goal (heaven/paradise) is based on faith, obedience and/or good works, as opposed to the dharmic religions (buddhism, hinduism, jainism and sikhism) which stress the importance of improving and refining one’s consciousness and/or mentality.
the most famous event in abraham’s life was when he was willing to kill his own son because he believed g-d told him to. since then, the lunatic fringe of the abrahamic religions also answer the question “will you kill for me?” with a resounding “yes”.
