v the process of reducing as many words as possible to a series of acronyms. this practice is often found in organizations where groupthink is rampant and human interpersonal skills are undeveloped.
instead of saying “we’re going out for lunch. will you be at the afternoon staff meeting,” you could acronymize and say “we’re going ofl. will you be at the asm?”
extreme version: wgofl. wybatasm?
