an electronic music group based in new york, new york usa. this group originated in the year 2002 in the bronx, new york by founders olly wiley and chris cotten, before a four year hiatas due to work and travel. they officially become afro p-ssy in 2007 with the addition of ashley maxwell and erin lindsey to record and perform vocals and keyboard synth for rare live acts.
