American Hammer


a s-x move related to the norwegian hammer, in which a partic-p-nt waits at the bottom of a snow-covered hill which features a ramp, and drops their pants. a second partic-p-nt equips themself with skis and proceeds to the top of the hill. this partic-p-nt then skis down the hill, and makes a ski jump over the ramp. they must then attempt to penetrate the other partic-p-nt before making contact with the floor. if they fail in this attempt they are not american.

a variant using a snowboard is known as the ‘american sledgehammer’and requires even greater dexterity
