american school foundation of monterrey (asfm)
asfm is a private, k-12 school in santa catarina, nl, even though its students come from neighboring munic-p-lity san pedro garza garcía, one of the richest and most prestigious munic-p-lities in mexico. it comprises of a tight-knit community, but it still has everything the “mean girls” high school has: the rich mean girls, the jocks, the smart ones, and the nerds. most teachers are american or canadian, which makes learning awesome. this school is the “feeder” for el tec de monterrey, one of the top universities in the country. other private schools call asfm students “fresa” for being too materialistic and elitist.
