Amescation
is a vacation from a place of work in which the person taking the vacation adds a day or two to each end of the scheduled vacation claiming various transportation issues and delays or other reasons for absence including sickness, homeowner issues, and other general purpose excuses people use to get out of going to work.
brett was supposed to come into work today after his week in bermuda but is taking an amescation as immediately upon returning, he claims to have become ill.
