Armenian massacres
armenian m-ssacres
the killing of large numbers of armenians who lived within the ottoman empire and its successor turkish state in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. from 1915 to 1920, more than a million armenians died as the result of executions, m-ssacres, starvation, and other repressive measures, and many fled to the united states and other countries.
note: at times, terrorists claiming armenian connections have killed turkish officials and bombed turkish buildings, demanding reparations.
