autolepathy is the common belief that, while driving, if you talk to the car ahead of you, it will somehow make that car behave in a way you want it to.
while driving:
driver: come on, mustang, i got to get somewhere. how about you hurry up.
p-ssenger: dude, your autolepathy is not gonna work.
