if there’s any cult for buddhism then it’s the one western ones follow where they talk sh-t about others religions and belief in g-d exhibiting the same intolerance and hatred of atheists therefore proving that they are false followers of buddhism which teaches to have tolerance and respect for other beliefs and people.
most atheist buddhists also still own worldly goods when they should in fact be given them up as buddha did.
