but bts
“but bts” is a phrase that the k-pop community uses when one of their faves do something problematic and they want to redirect the attention to the k-pop group bts to justify their faves actions.
bts did some problematic things in the past but sincerely apologized and educated themselves. they are completely innocent now but the k-pop community still bring them up at their convenience.
person a: your faves should be called out, they said the n word.
person b: but bts… you forget about them?
or
person a: they should apologize
person b: you stan bts (this is another form of but bts)
