n. the overwhelming tendency to get screwed over in every non-vital yet meaningful aspect of life. cal luck exists solely to contradict and mock those who have it.
if you would have gotten laid were it not for an unrelated and seemingly trivial event, you have cal luck.
if you successfully coax someone into taking the bad end of a lopsided bet and lose anyways, you have cal luck.
if you win coin flips but only when they are not important, you have cal luck.
if you get hit by an rv, you do not have cal luck….you are dead.
if a hurricane destroys your home, you do not have cal luck…you probably deserved it.
if you make a bet with a hot girl about a coin flip, heads she hooks up with you, tails you hook up with her, and you win, but an ensuing hurricane destroys her rv, crushing her to death in the process, you definitely have cal luck.
