a person who has enough money that they no longer have to endure the penny pinching ways of conventional hipsters. however, they choose to spend their hard earned on things that reflect the guiding principles of their hipster roots so they can stay connected to their tribe. a $350 golden plains ticket, a slightly less derelict warehouse apartment conversion or maybe clothes that look like they come from savers, but really cost hundreds. cashed up hipsters surround themselves with an indie & alternative lifestyle at all times no matter what the cost, and wouldn’t dream of anything mainstream or commercial being part of their lives.
