chamber pop, often used interchangeably with baroque pop, is a pop music subgenre which originated in the united states and united kingdom. it emerged in the mid-1960s as a fusion of pop rock and cl-ssical music, in particular that of the baroque and cl-ssical eras. it has continued to develop with new artists such as the synthetic dream foundation, regina spektor, and the newest works by tori amos.
