chat burn-out
when you make a new friend on facebook/mysp-ce/gmail/aim and chat every time both of you are online until you have nothing to talk about and start avoiding the friend except for the occasional update. the point where all topics have been covered and chat becomes less frequent is known as chat burn-out.
