Crescendolling
the practice of driving around listening to dance music and then exiting the car at convenient times to begin dancing, usually with the intent of encouraging strangers to join in. typically, partic-p-nts wait until they reach a red light or enter a parking lot before exiting the car to dance so as ensure their safety. it is also generally performed at night so as to not excessively block traffic.

when crescendolling, it is advised that the driver remain in the car to control the music.
