cuquemelle
a word normally reserved for something extraordinary and out of this world. maybe the most beautiful girl you’ve ever seen. or a fantastic ray of sunshine on a dreary, cloudy day. a cuquemelle tends to stop you in your tracks, forget about any problems you have in life and finally ends with you grinning like there is no tomorrow.
it was a cold, bl-stery monday morning and i was working non-stop in surgery where every patient was either depressed or being difficult or simply both. when my last patient finally left i took out my lunch. i bit into the most delicious sandwich made by the delicate of hands of an angel. it was pure cuquemelle and the nightmare of the morning was but a mere distant memory.
