dangerous maneuver
a critical error in driving in which the instructor may mark you on literally anything — failure to look at blindspot, not signaling, and such.
boy: mom, i got dq’d for making a dangerous maneuver.
mom: what for?
boy: for not looking at my blindspot early/late enough, though i did look at it.
mom: that’s outrageous! that means the instructors can mark you on that at anytime be it early or late.
