used in conjuction with city of heroes/city of villans mmorpg’s. the debt fairy is a mythical creature that listens for phrases similar to ‘yay, no more debt’
(lost experience points in city of …);
at this point it magically changes the next encounter to one where you will die instantly; thus acc-mulating more debt.
there have been no confirmed sightings of these creatures, but most players know they exist.
