accessory phrenic nerve n.
Any of the accessory nerve strands that arise from the fifth cervical nerve, often as branches of the nerve to the subclavius, and pass downward to join the phrenic nerve.
- Accessory saphenous vein
accessory saphenous vein accessory saphenous vein n. An occasional vein running in the thigh parallel to the great saphenous vein, which it joins just before the latter empties into the femoral vein.
- Accessory spleen
accessory spleen accessory spleen n. Any of the small globular masses of splenic tissue occasionally found in the area of the spleen, or in one of the peritoneal folds.
