Gwhis

World-Wide Web
A commercial version of NCSA Mosaic for MS Windows 3.x and Windows for Workgroups. GWHIS was released by Quadralay Corporation on 30 September 1994.
GWHIS Viewer for Microsoft Windows differs from NCSA Mosaic for Microsoft Windows in several ways including:
A hotlist similiar to the X Window System version. Edit Annotation and Delete Annotation work. All Buttons and Menu Items are “greyed out” while files are being retreived and processed. This prevents the user from queing up requests to the TCP/IP stack which causes many crashes. Look and Feel are similiar to the X version. On-line help is complete. Functional Setup program. Greater overall stability.
