Intermediomedial nucleus

intermediomedial nucleus in·ter·me·di·o·me·di·al nucleus (ĭn’tər-mē’dē-ō-mē’dē-əl)
A small group of visceral motor neurons immediately ventral to the thoracic nucleus in the thoracic and the upper two lumbar segments of the spinal cord, giving rise rise to the preganglionic fibers of the sympathetic nervous system.
