Tranexamic acid
tranexamic acid tran·ex·am·ic acid (trān’ĭk-sām’ĭk)
n.
A competitive inhibitor of plasminogen activation and of plasmin. It is used in hemophilia to reduce or to prevent the occurence of hemorrhage.
