Tympanomastoid fissure
tympanomastoid fissure tym·pa·no·mas·toid fissure (tĭm’pə-nō-mās’toid’)

A fissure that separates the tympanic portion from the mastoid portion of the temporal bone and transmits the auricular branch of the vagus nerve. Also called auricular fissure.
