VDRL test (vē’dē-är-ěl’)
n.
A flocculation test for syphilis, uses cardiolipin-lecithin-cholesterol antigen as developed by the former Venereal Disease Research Laboratory, now the Treponemal Pathogenesis and Immunology Branch, of the United States Public Health Service.
