Vestibular fold


vestibular fold n.
Either of a pair of folds of mucous membrane stretching across the laryngeal cavity from the angle of the thyroid cartilage to the arytenoid cartilage to enclose the rima vestibuli. Also called false vocal cord, ventricular band of larynx.
