Define Irony
a statement uttered after the revelation of an exceedingly ironic fact. (based on steve buscemi’s statement in con air, “define irony: a bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.”
person 1: dude, did you hear dj am died of a drug overdose?
person 2: no! thats crazy!
person 1: yeah, and he had just signed a contract with mtv to host a reality show doing interventions for teenagers with drug problems, showing how people can turn their lives around.
person 2: wow. define irony.
