NIAAA (Nat’l Inst. on Alcoh. Abuse and Alcoholism)


The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism is one of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the U.S. The mission of NIAAA is to “conduct research focused on improving the treatment and prevention of alcoholism and alcohol- related problems to reduce the enormous health, social, and economic consequences of this disease.”
