Release, carpal tunnel


A surgical procedure to relieve pressure exerted on the median nerve within the carpal tunnel causing carpal tunnel syndrome. Surgical release is performed via a small incision, using conventional surgery techniques or a fiber-optic scope (endoscopic carpal tunnel repair).
