CYS


Short for check your settings, CYS is technical support shorthand used to note that the user requesting support was advised to check their settings in troubleshooting their problem. For example, if a user calls tech support claiming he can’t check his e-mail, the technical support personnel taking the call will have him CYS looking for incorrect settings that will fix the error.
